Lifestiles is proud to have installed two electric vehicle chargepoints at its premises in Halstead, as part of a company drive to go green.
With the world on course to exceed 1.5C warming, taking carbon out of the atmosphere and lowering emissions, has never been more important.
At Lifestiles we take our commitment to environmental sustainability seriously, only using natural products in all of our tiles and in their application on to roofs.
And as a further step towards going green, we have installed two chargepoints at our premises, making it easier for staff who have made the switch from petrol or diesel cars to charge their vehicle whilst at work. Customers and suppliers are also welcome to use them if needed when visiting us.
Lifestiles Director, Dave Osborn, said:
“It’s fantastic to have two electric vehicle charging points here at Lifestiles. In a world where climate change is accelerating, any actions we take now will be felt for generations to come.
“We are proud to be a green, sustainable company, and consider the environment in all of our tiles through their lifecycle – from their extraction from the earth, right through to their application on roofs.”
