Project Summary

The red pantile is handcrafted by Lifestiles and is unique offering the traditional look of the old Norfolk pantile but with all the advantages of modern production. The pantile still has one nib and single nail hole and can be used in new build but is very common mixed in with older tiles or the Restoration tile giving a bespoke version of these old style roofs.

This showcase is one of those types of buildings, when in the design stage it was important that the finished home looked in keeping with the area around Hatfield. The lower areas where to be tiled with Lifestiles handmade multi roof tiles but the main section of the roof had to be traditional pantiles. The colour mix was also as important and the red tile (80%) was to be mixed with the restoration thus mirroring the multi tile in colour.

The end result is a beautiful offering of the pantile all set in with complementing natural products of brick and plain tile and a showcase for the Lifestiles range.
