The Ashvale and Holkham Barn clay pantiles can both be used on roofs pitched to 30˚ assuming they are fixed in accordance with the British Standard Code of Practice for Slating & Tiling BS 5534: 2014.
However, if your roof pitch is lower than 30˚, please contact us with details of your requirements and we can offer a clay pantile solution down to a pitch as low as 17.5˚ from our French Collection.
Both tiles are suitable for use in any part of the country, but indigenously pantiles are more commonly found in East Anglia and up the East coast of England.
The Holkham Weathered pantile is evidence of timeless craftsmanship and authentic design. Crafted by hand with excellent attention to detail, this clay pantile shows the rich heritage of Norfolk’s architectural tradition.
The weathered finish of the Holkham pantile lends it the appearance of a reclaimed barn tile, which gives each piece with a sense of history and rustic elegance. Yet, despite its vintage aesthetic, this pantile has all the advantages associated with new tiles.
