Lifestiles is continuing to grow with the acquisition of Primera Slate, bringing together two established businesses with a shared focus on quality products and exceptional customer service.
The acquisition marks an important step in the development of Lifestiles and expands its specialist roofing offering, building on the business’s established range of natural roofing products.
Based near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, Primera Slate has built a strong reputation as a specialist importer and supplier of natural Spanish slate. Working with long-established Spanish quarries, the business supplies roofing slate, sills, flooring and other slate products to customers across the construction industry.
The acquisition also brings together two businesses with a similar approach to sourcing specialist natural materials. Primera’s established quarry relationships and knowledge of Spanish slate complement Lifestiles’ existing experience supplying specialist roofing products to private clients, trade customers and retail merchants across the UK.
For Steve Harding, who has built Primera Slate into the established business it is today, continuity for existing customers remains an important part of the transition. Steve will remain involved with Primera Slate, helping to ensure the relationships and service customers know continue as the business moves forward with Lifestiles.
