The Cotswold stone varies within the counties that make up the Cotswold. Different thicknesses and colours are required within the region from North to South.
At Lifestiles we have taken the limestone and aged the stone in order to achieve a "reclaim" or aged look. These aged stones come in two thicknesses and again are available in all the sizes from 6” through to 24” in order to complement the special look that can only be found in the Cotswold’s.
Each slate is painstakingly worked with the specially developed natural pigments thus giving the perfect appearance of the scarce, sacred and expensive second hand and salvaged stone slates.
The aged stone starts as a blend of natural stone with pigment staining applied to each individual piece of stone.
